Criminal Record Management
CAPS provides comprehensive data
capture and reporting of criminal histories. An agency which is responsible
for recording offense and arrest information is required to provide data
relating to offenses and arrests to state and Federal agencies. Compiling
the data to meet these reporting requirements can be problematic for any
agency. Furthermore, not all agencies report their data in the same way.

FIRES
Fire Incident Reporting System
FIRES, Fire
Incident Reporting System, is a record management system for Fire Agencies.
This comprehensive system tracks Calls for Service; Fire Investigations;
Station and Company Inspections; Inventory and Transactions for Departments,
Positions and Persons; Building, Business, Hydrant and Hose locations and
inspections; personnel information; equipment and supplies inventory;
maintains a list of insurance companies for billing; ambulance billing and
more.
In addition, FIRES provides a series of comprehensive submodules to maintain and print the National Fire Incident Reports (NFIRS).
FIRES is multi-agency. This means that more than one agency can use the same system. FIRES is divided into logical sections called modules. These modules in turn contain several submodules each. Your agency may use all or only some of these modules.

A-CAD
Advanced Computer Aided Dispatch
The Advanced Computer-Aided
Dispatch (A-CAD) system provides automated dispatch for Law Enforcement,
Fire, Rescue, EMS and other agencies. Both multi-agency and
multi-jurisdictional in nature, the system manages resources and recommends
units for dispatch. Complaint-taking and dispatching data entry are done
on-screen as calls are taken. The system continuously updates all
information so that current field conditions can be viewed at any time. The
A-CAD design speeds call entry and dispatch while increasing accuracy and
field safety.
A-CAD reports supply information needed for effective resource allocation.
Trouble spots can be pinpointed and individual officer performance can be
evaluated. In addition, if CISCO's CAPS and/or FIRES are installed,
completed call entries can be transferred to those systems for record
management processing.
A-CAD is designed with Plain language menus and prompts. The system is easy
to use and requires no special technical knowledge. A-CAD provides agencies
with the flexibility to configure call taking and dispatching either as
separate functions or as a combined operation. The system is provided with
security features so that only authorized personnel have access to allowed
functions.
The system makes use of color to enhance at-a-glance conditions; for
example, color differentiation is applied to single vs. two man units, to
active units who have not responded within a user-defined time frame and to
units operating out of jurisdiction. E911 interfaces are available and are
widely implemented. Also available are state and NCIC interfaces, as well as
the integration of MDDs, (which can be terminals or laptops), AVL, Mapping,
Time Synchronization and other systems. A-CAD has an optional redundancy
feature which links two computers together so that all system functions are
automatically duplicated in case of hardware failure; dispatching can
continue uninterrupted without loss of information.

EMS, Emergency
Medical Service system, is a record management system for Emergency
Agencies. This comprehensive system tracks Calls for Service and EMS
Information; personnel information; equipment, medication and supplies

JAMS
Jail Administration Management System
JAMS is an on-line, interactive jail booking and
management system that provides information on incarcerated adults and
juveniles. JAMS performs the necessary information storage and retrieval
functions for efficient management of jail records.
Like all CISCO software, JAMS is designed with easy to use menus and a
comprehensive security system. Data is entered in JAMS in a natural flow of
prompted entries without unnecessary repetition. The system is designed for
use by non-technical personnel. The design is flexible enough to meet the
requirements of any correctional facility. User-defined code tables
facilitate the efficiency and accuracy of data entry.
JAMS reports provide reliable and timely information on all aspects of jail
management including prisoner personal property, visitor activity, mental
and medical health information, prisoner movements in and out of the
facility, commissary inventory and prisoner purchases, meal summaries,
medication updates, and population statistics. Some of these reports serve
as official document forms with signature lines provided.

Investigator's Tracking System
CASE is an automated
investigator's case tracking system. Designed to assist supervisors in the
management of criminal investigations, CASE provides timely and accurate
information on case assignment, status, and feedback. CASE can be used to
monitor investigator caseload, to assess performance of units and
individuals, to support budget requests, and to review victim/witness
feedback. Management can use CASE as a tool to determine training needs for
investigative personnel.
CASE has easy-to-use Plain language menus and prompts that lead the user step-by-step through the system. Data entry is simple with functions for entering, updating, and deleting record files. CASE interacts with the Offense and Victim Names modules in CAPS to produce most of the Case History record, and the Victim Information records. --READ MORE--

TIES
Traffic Accident Analysis System
TIES is an on-line,
interactive traffic accident analysis system which can either stand alone or
integrate with other applications in the CISCO records management system. An
easy-to-use Plain language menu and prompt design makes TIES ideal for
non-technical personnel use. The system provides a data entry system to
enter, alter, and delete records, with a comprehensive security feature to
maintain confidentiality of files. User-defined code tables increase the
efficiency and accuracy of data entry while the Utilities module provides a
feature to custom-design the data entry screens to suit each agency's needs.
TIES is a modular system which combines to maintain and manage all accident-related records. Each module provides one or more reports which produce reliable and timely printouts of the information in the system. --READ MORE--

CITATIONS is an on-line,
interactive citation tracking and court docketing system. CITATIONS can
stand alone or integrate with the CISCO records management system. A variety

Licensing and Permits
provides any agency with the ability to track issued licenses and permits

Wanted Persons and Vehicles
Warrant
Tracking captures
information on both wanted persons and vehicles and tracks "transactions" or
action taken on existing warrants. A charge code table is maintained for use
by this module.
Civil Process handles the creation and tracking of civil process documents such as subpoenas and judgments, maintains data on defendants, plaintiffs and attorneys, as well as property seizures and auctions. Included are a module which records interest to be calculated on amounts owed by defendants and a module which performs the calculations. Fleet Management System
WHEELS is a multi-agency,
automated fleet management system. With WHEELS it is easy to determine which
vehicles are cost-effective, what vehicle make and model has the best repair
record, and how much each department is spending on vehicle maintenance.
Department inventories can be requested with a few simple keystrokes and
reports can be created and reviewed with or without hardcopy.

Built with a modular design, WHEELS has seven data files, accessed separately, which combine for comprehensive information coverage of vehicles without unnecessary repetition. The Civil Process
system provides several functions: Civil Process establishes the records on
individuals; Civil Process Transactions logs transactions relating to those
records; Attorney Information maintains data on attorneys and provides an
Attorney Table; Civil Process Defendant and Plaintiff records defendant and
plaintiff information, respectively; Civil Process Employer captures
employment information for the defendant; Civil Process Seizures provides
property seizure data; Civil Process Auction records information on seized
property which has been auctioned; an Interest Calculation module calculates
interest on amounts owed by defendants, and the Interest Table maintains the
information on the percentage of interest to be charged, and the time
periods for which the rate is effective.
